Don't just pass by the homeless!
In view of the low temperatures forecast for these days, we remind the local community that they have the opportunity to report the areas or locations where homeless people are sheltering, at the telephone number of the Local Police Dispatch: 0265/250760 or at the non-stop telephone numbers: 0265/253 234 and 0365/422 575 of the Night Shelter of the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures.
The Night Shelter is located on 36 Rozmarinului Street, Târgu Mureș, has a capacity of 100 beds, overnight, in separate rooms for men and women and adequate sanitary facilities.
The people accommodated here also receive, when needed, clothes, shoes, food and, last but not least, support to overcome this difficult period in their lives through social and medical counselling, support in finding a job, support in obtaining identity and civil status documents, they can enjoy watching TV programmes and other activities in the social hall of the Shelter.
At the moment, 41 people are being cared for at the night shelter.
