Proiect „Detectivi pe planeta albastră” – săptămâna 2 – Lumea minerală
Have you ever thought about what the Earth is made of? Yes, this very earth that we all stand on, walk on, cultivate and admire on our excursions!
Well, the earth is made of minerals and rocks, and the children of the Rosemary Day Centre, little detectives by profession, uncovered the mysteries hidden in the mineral kingdom during a week of arts, creativity and games.
Great was their amazement when they discovered, through their activities, that there is an indestructible link between minerals in fruit, vegetables, soil, rocks and water and that in nature, the mineral world exists in solid form.
The rocks, witnesses of the Earth's history, were the main attraction for the children, as they hide a lot of beauty and something mysterious waiting to be discovered. And, of course, each of them painted them as their imagination dictated, while savouring the sweetness of the mineral-rich fruit.
And as everything is like a chain, the little ones learnt and practised how to recycle pet waste, which is essential to protect the environment.
What the little ones have learnt these days is that our Earth is like a peach: it has a pit - core and lava; a core - all the stones, rocks and minerals; a shell - soil, grass, plants, animals.
And to continue their foray to the Blue Planet, the little detectives need to stay in shape to face new discoveries and challenges in the following week's exploration of the Animal World.
