HEATING ALLOWANCE 2024-2025. How much is the subsidy?
The Directorate of Social Assistance (DAS) Targu Mures started on Friday, 1 November 2024, the session of taking the documentation for the home heating/energy supplement.
The heating allowance and the energy supplement are granted to families and single persons with an average net monthly income of up to 1,386 lei/person (in the case of a family) or up to 2,053 lei (in the case of a single person).
The heating allowance is granted on a differentiated basis, depending on the income per family member or single person, and the compensation is related to the reference value set by law and NOT to the energy bill.
Thus, the reference value is:
- 250 lei/month - for natural gas;
- 500 lei/month - for electricity;
- 320 lei/month - for solid and/or petroleum fuels.
In addition to the home heating allowance, low-income families and single people can receive a fixed-amount energy supplement, which is granted monthly throughout the year, depending on the energy sources used, as follows:
- 30 lei/month for electricity consumption;
- 10 lei/month for natural gas consumption;
- 20 lei/month for the consumption of solid and/or petroleum fuels;
- 70 lei/month if the only energy source used is electricity.
Application - Affidavit together with the supporting documents, can be submitted at the "Mihai Eminescu" Cultural Centre (Youth House) in Târgu Mureș, Nicolae Grigorescu str., no. 19, according to the following schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
