World Social Care Day 2024 - a shared future for meaningful and transformative change 
Building a better future focused on meaningful and transformative change that benefits all members of the community relies on the importance of a joint effort by citizens as well as public and private institutions, and social workers are at the heart of this perspective. They contribute to promoting positive and sustainable change in the lives of the people, families and communities they serve.
This year's World Social Welfare Day theme is "Buen Vivir: Sharing the Future for Transformative Change", rooted in the Global Agenda.
On this occasion, the management of the Targu Mures Social Welfare Directorate would like to thank all social workers and employees working in the social field for the work they do every day, for the effort and patience they show in improving the quality of life of beneficiaries.

You are the ones who care for individuals, families, groups, vulnerable communities and society as a whole in an effort to meet their basic needs and improve social functioning, self-determination, collective responsibility, optimal health and overall well-being.
