We act for marginalized communities in the Municipality of Târgu Mureș
Information and awareness raising of the target group related to the project "Integrated approach to poverty and social exclusion for the benefit of marginalized communities in the Municipality of Targu Mures" - co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme (POCU) 2014-2020", is one of the priorities of the partners in the proper implementation of the above mentioned project.
The work in the community with the citizens and the discussions held with them in the past few days focused mainly on: facilitating access both to the labour market and to free qualification courses, the importance of education in their personal development and their future, the benefits of participating in compulsory education, the implementation of the "Second Chance" programme in order to prevent and reduce school dropout, including reintegration into the education system through formal, non-formal and informal learning paths, as well as the benefits offered through the social, socio-medical and medical services provided by the Târgu Mureș Social Assistance Department.
At the same time, it was recalled that, following the analysis of the needs of people and groups at risk of social exclusion, the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures will be able to identify and also apply for other future projects aimed at marginalized areas of the municipality.
