Educational services for children from disadvantaged families in the Day Centre for minors
Târgu Mureș Social Assistance Department through the project "Integrated approach to poverty and social exclusion for the benefit of marginalized communities in Târgu Mureș Municipality POCU/717/5/1/152430" - co-funded by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme (POCU) 2014-2020, provides educational services for school dropouts through the Day Centre for minors. Thus, children between the ages of 3 and 18 benefit from specialised programmes such as:
- Complex assessment;
- Information and counselling on counselling services, appropriate support services, as well as those aimed at preventing and solving situations of difficulty in which the person/family finds him/herself;
- Specialised counselling services (social, psychological, psycho-social):
- School guidance and dropout prevention;
- Vocational/professional guidance and facilitation of finding a job;
- Identifying, preventing and addressing abuse, neglect and exploitation;
- Facilitating integration into family and community life; promoting family life and maintaining harmonious relationships between parents and children.
- Services related to informal/non-formal education, supervision and learning support activities;
- Afterschool services (supervision and support for school lessons/topics);
- Psychological rehabilitation services for children with psycho-emotional problems through specialized therapies;
- Identification, assessment and monitoring services for street children;
- Hot meal.
The social services mentioned above are provided free of charge!
