Happy World Social Welfare Day 2025!
The importance of intergenerational care and respect are key to building a sustainable society, protecting the environment and sharing wisdom for a better future.
The theme of this year's World Day of Social Care is "Strengthening intergenerational solidarity for sustainable well-being".
On this occasion, the management of the Targu Mures Social Welfare Directorate would like to thank all social workers and employees working in the social field for the work they do every day, for the effort and patience they show in improving the quality of life of beneficiaries.

We want every community to have dedicated social workers and to value their profession. It is you who care for individuals, families, groups, vulnerable communities and society as a whole, in an effort to meet their basic needs and to improve social functioning, self-determination, collective responsibility, optimal health and general well-being. We are confident that in the future you will continue to do your work with dedication and respect for the beneficiaries and society!
