Blue Planet Detectives project start - week 1 - Plant World
Earth, water, sun, daily monitoring of progress, patience and curiosity to discover the mysteries of nature - these were the ingredients of the first thematic week of the "Detectives on the Blue Planet" project run by the Rosemary Day Centre.
On their journey of discovery, the little detectives stopped by the "Elphin" greenhouses. Here, they connected with the plant world, learning through play how to care for plants and how important they are for the environment. And because theory has to be combined with practice to get the best results, the little ones started colouring and pressing/gluing flowers, while discovering their names.
We couldn't forget personal hygiene, because, right? Everything goes through a clean and well-groomed environment, and children need to know the basic rules.
The journey as "Detectives on the blue planet" will continue with activities in the Mineral World, and at the end of the journey towards knowledge, "MY BOOK" will be the one that will reveal to the viewers the small universe discovered, investigated and painstakingly collected.
