Volunteers - reliable support in the paperwork for the grant of aid for home heating in Târgu Mureș
For 2 weeks, young volunteers, students of "Dimitrie Cantemir" University of Targu Mures, majoring in Psychology and Geography, are lending a hand to the Targu Mures Social Assistance Department in the action of taking applications for the 2023-2024 home heating allowance and the energy supplement.
The initiative, a challenge for the young students, started from the desire to do good in the community, to help, out of empathy, compassion, understanding and awareness of the need to provide support, especially to the elderly who are now submitting the necessary paperwork to receive this financial support.
The student volunteers were trained on how to fill in the necessary applications to be submitted by the applicants, the necessary documents and other essential information related to the heating aid.
We would like to remind citizens that applications and supporting documents for the granting of home heating aid and energy supplement are physically collected at the Mihai Eminescu Cultural Centre (Youth House) in Targu Mures, Nicolae Grigorescu Street, no. 19, according to the following schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
Applications with supporting documents can also be submitted online to the e-mail address: registratura.das@tirgumures.ro.
The documents required for granting the aid can be submitted by 20.11.2023 at the latest, in order to receive this benefit from 01.11.2023, and applications submitted from 21.11.2023 will result in the aid being granted from 01.12.2023.
