Week of Kindness: heart-warming activities for the children of the Rosemary Day Centre
To learn kindness, children need to understand what kindness looks like. And how could they understand it better than from other children, older than them, of course, who have already passed part of the kindness test. Prepared with a well-prepared artistic and educational programme, but also with a lot of happiness in their hearts, the students of the 9th grade of the Integritas International High School visited the pupils of the "Rosemary" Day Centre. Here they performed a piece of music, vocally and instrumentally, followed by a series of group activities. Some organised games in the Centre's courtyard while others interacted with the children indoors, helping them to colour or complete puzzles and various worksheets. Together they felt the emotion of kindness while sharing empathy, and for that we thank them!
Kindness is a core value that helps us to establish harmonious relationships with those around us, and when we help young children to practise this value in as many contexts as possible, we help them to reach their potential and grow harmoniously.
