"Together, without discrimination!" - event within the Information campaign aimed at increasing access to social services and combating discrimination (POCU)
Discrimination is one of the biggest current issues affecting our lifestyles in every way.
In this regard, the Social Welfare Department of Targu Mures with the support of "Serafim Duicu" Secondary School, as partners of the project "Integrated approach to poverty and social exclusion for the benefit of marginalized communities in the Municipality of Targu Mures" - co-funded by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme (HCOP) 2014-2020 has completed the event "Fighting discrimination", part of the activity A5.3 Information campaign aimed at increasing access to social services and combating discrimination.
The children enrolled at the Day Centre for minors of the DAS Târgu Mureș, together with the pupils from the ZEP (Priority Education Zone) of the "Serafim Duicu" Secondary School, took part in interactive and educational activities, drew/painted works representing the symbols of all ethnic groups living in Târgu Mureș, danced and enjoyed together all that life has to offer.
Every child and adult must be guaranteed all rights without distinction as to race, colour, gender, language, religion, political or other opinion, ethnic or social origin, property, disability, birth or other status of the child, his or her parents or legal guardians.
The action aimed to promote a culture of tolerance and mutual understanding, as well as access for all to quality social and health services, a key element of community integration of different social categories in the Municipality of Targu Mures.
