Financial support for individuals or families who adopt children, amounting to 2000 lei for each adopted child

H.C.L. no. 333/28.11.2019 on granting financial support for individuals or families from Târgu Mureș who adopt children. 

Type of beneficiaries

This methodology benefits individuals or families that adopt children. Starting from 1 January 2020, the amount for each adopted child will be 2000 lei.

Submission of the application and mandatory documents

The application for financial support for individuals or families who adopt children must be submitted to the Social Assistance Department of Târgu Mureș, together with supporting documents.

Required documents

• Application for financial support for persons or families adopting children;
• Declaration of consent;
• Parents' identity documents (original and copy);
• Child's birth certificate (original and copy);
• Court Judgment on Adoption.

Stages of the file analysis

The beneficiaries of this Procedure shall submit the documents proving their eligibility to the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures, Gh. Doja nr. 9, room 8, ground floor (Registrar's Office).

DAS Târgu Mureș representatives will only register applications accompanied by all supporting documents, verifying the integrity and validity of the information.

Conditions of eligibility

• It is granted once for each adopted child on application;
• The parents live in Târgu Mureș;
• The file with supporting documents is only accepted if it is complete. 

The provisions of this methodology shall not apply to persons who

1. Does not meet the eligibility criteria set out above;
2. They have submitted an incomplete file the documents covered by the file need to be validated.
