General
Monthly allowance granted on the basis of Law No 448/2006, republished, as amended and supplemented, shall cease with the month following the month in which the disabled person no longer meets the conditions for entitlement.
The conditions under which entitlement to the monthly allowance ceases may be:
- expiry of the validity of the certificate of classification as severely disabled;
- change of disability classification;
- death of the beneficiary;
- changing the severely disabled person's choice to employ a personal assistant;
- change of residence of the severely disabled person to another locality;
- change of the option to receive monthly allowance/carer allowance from another institution than the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures;
- institutionalisation of the severely disabled minor in a care home;
- institutionalisation of the severely disabled person in a public residential centre;
- conviction or detention following the commission of a crime by severely disabled persons.
Required documents
In order to terminate entitlement to the monthly allowance, the claimant shall submit the following documents at the headquarters of the Targu Mures Social Assistance Department or by e-mail (registratura.das@tirgumures.ro):
- Application for termination of entitlement to monthly allowance (Application form 02 for stopping the carer's allowance);
- New disability classification certificate (severe without personal assistant, severe, medium);
- Copy of identity card;
- Certificate of admission of the disabled person to a residential care/public residential centre;
- Death certificate.
