From Tuesday, 3 January 2023, distribution of food parcels begins
granted through the Operational Programme for the Aid of Disadvantaged People (POAD) implemented by the European Union
Starting from 03.01.2023, the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures, begins the distribution of packages containing food products from Community intervention stocks for the most deprived people in Romania, under the Operational Programme for Aid to the Disadvantaged (POAD).
Packages can be picked up from Tuesday (03.01.2023) to Friday, between 08:00 - 15:00 - during the first week of January, and then from Monday to Friday, during the same hours mentioned above, from the location located in Târgu Mureș, str. Ludușului, nr. 29.
Eligible beneficiaries:
Single persons and families who are entitled, by written provision, to a guaranteed minimum income granted on the basis of Law no. 416/2001 on guaranteed minimum income, as amended and supplemented;
Families receiving family support allowance under the Law No 277/2010 on family support allowance, republished, as amended and supplemented.
The packages contain:
- white wheat flour (5 kg);
- cornflour (4 kg);
- pasta (800 g);
- oil (4 litres);
- sugar (2 kg);
- rice (4 kg);
- 5 tins of beef 300 g each;
- 3 tins of pork, 900 g each;
- 5 tins of pork liver pâté of 200 g each;
- 2 jars of fruit compote of 720 ml each;
- 1 jar of fruit jam (360 g);
- 1 jar of diet fruit jam (360 g).
The products are pre-packed in cardboard boxes, weighing approximately 25 kg/box.
Aid is collected in person, on presentation of valid ID, verification of the identity of the person on the list and signature of receipt by the final recipients.
