HEATING ALLOWANCE 2024-2025
People can apply from 1 November 2024!
The Directorate of Social Assistance (DAS) Târgu Mureș starts from Friday, 1 November 2024, the session for taking the documentation for the home heating/energy supplement.
The home heating allowance is granted from 1 November 2024 to 31 March 2025, and the energy supplement throughout the year.
Categories of BENEFICIARIES:
- families with an average monthly net income of up to 1,386 lei/person;
- single people with an average monthly net income of up to 2,053 lei.
ATTENTION! In the case of pensioners, the amount of the pension for the month of August 2024 is taken into account, according to the provisions of GEO no. 105/2024.
IMPORTANT! Persons who own buildings or other residential premises outside their place of residence, more than one car/motorbike less than 10 years old, boats, motorboats, land with an area of more than 1,200 square metres (urban) and 2,500 square metres (rural), bank deposits totalling more than 3 times the average gross salary provided for by the State Social Insurance Act, etc. I CANNOT BENEFIT from heating aid and energy supplement.
CERERILE and supporting documents for the grant of home heating allowance and energy supplement are DEPOSITED at the "Mihai Eminescu" Cultural Centre (Youth House) in Târgu Mureș, Nicolae Grigorescu str., no. 19, according to the following schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00

The documents required for the grant of the aid may be submitted by 20.11.2024 at the latest, in order to receive this benefit from 01.11.2024, and applications submitted from 21.11.2024 will lead to the grant of the aid from 01.12.2024.
NECESSARY ACTS for the granting of home heating aid and energy supplement:
- A standard application form, accompanied by an affidavit of family composition and income;
- Proof of family composition (ID card, identity card, identity card, children's birth certificates, marriage certificate, residence permit or passport) - xerox copy;
- Evidence of the income realised by the family members for the month preceding the submission of the application (payslip and other salary entitlements, allowances, incentives, pension coupon for August 2024, unemployment benefit payment slip, tax assessment decision for the last quarter from the Mures Public Finance Administration, other documents proving the sources of income, as appropriate);
- Copy of the contract of sale/lease contract/ CF extract for the dwelling (in the case of a lease contract, proof of registration with ANAF must be submitted; the CF extract must not be older than 30 days);
- Certificate from the owners'/tenants' association showing the number of persons registered in the land register and taken into account when determining the maintenance costs of the dwelling;
- Certificate from the Land and Agricultural Register Service of the Municipality of Targu Mures regarding the land and animals owned (to be obtained with the support of DAS Targu Mures);
- Copy of your last gas bill (all pages double-sided);
- Copy of your last electricity bill (all pages double-sided);
- Copy of the car registration;
- A bank statement or a sworn statement on savings totalling more than three times the average gross salary provided for by the State Social Insurance Act;
- Other documents as appropriate.

TO BE RECOGNISED! DAS Târgu Mureș will verify the income realised, as well as the movable and immovable property owned by the applicants and their family members, through the information systems provided by the National Agency for Tax Administration (ANAF), the Local Tax Directorate Târgu Mureș (Tax Service) and the Land and Agricultural Register Service of the City Hall of Târgu Mureș.
