1.000 lei - financial support for newborns offered by DAS Târgu Mureș
The Social Assistance Directorate of Targu Mures, by applying national policies in the field of social assistance, but also by implementing community action programmes, provides integrated services in the field of child and family protection.
Thus, according to the provisions of HCL no. 228/2022, families or single mothers receive a financial incentive for newborns, in the form of electronic vouchers, in the amount of 1,000 lei / newborn.
The incentive is granted once only, on the basis of an application submitted within 60 days of the date of birth, subject to cumulative compliance with the following conditions:
- parents/parents of the newborn child/children with residence of both parents or of the parent in case of single parent family in the municipality of Târgu Mureș;
- parents/parents of the newborn child/children with residence of both parents or of the parent in case of single parent family in Târgu Mureș municipality, at least 6 months before the birth of the child.
The files are submitted at the Social Assistance Department of Târgu Mureș, Gheorghe Doja Street, nr. 9, room 8, Registration Office (schedule: Monday and Wednesday: 08:00-14:30, Tuesday and Thursday: 08:00-16:00, Friday: 08:00-14:00), electronically at the e-mail address: registratura.das@tirgumures.ro.

We would like to mention that, from the beginning of 2023 until now, a number of 521 families from the municipality have been declared eligible for the payment of financial support through the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures.
