Mini-football championship with more than 120 young athletes from vulnerable communities in Mures County
😊⚽️A There was a great commotion today at the football pitches of the "Mureșul" ("Weekend") Leisure and Sports Complex, where over 120 children (8 teams, age group 9-12 years) showed off their talent and skills in a mini football championship. For some it was their first time on a football pitch, but it was well worth it!
😊 Along with children from marginalised communities in Târnăveni, Daneș, Ormeniș, Băgaciu, Talentum Foundation and CTF (Family Type Homes) Sâncraiu de Mureș, the children from the "Rozmarin" Day Centre joined the children.
🏅🏅🏆 At the end, everyone was honoured and served a well-deserved lunch!
The action is part of the project "We choose respect and unity" and was organised by Buckner Romania Foundation with funding from Mures County Council and the support of the City Hall of Targu Mures.
🤗Thank you for the opportunity to participate with our little ones in this event that meant movement, fair play, joy and smiles among the little ones! We promise next year, we will be much better! 😄
