"Detectives on the blue planet" project finale
A day in Dumbrava Sibiu: Astra Museum Complex, Sibiu Zoo
The journey of the little detectives on the blue planet ended at the end of October with a trip back in time. Here, children from the Rosemary Day Centre discovered the magic of Romanian villages in a museum of traditional folk civilisation in the Dumbrava Sibiului forest, with farms, workshops and mills dotted around a beautiful lake, all brought together in the Astra National Museum Complex.
On board the coach and in high spirits, once they arrived in Sibiu, they strolled the paths of the past, past houses built hundreds of years ago and wild animals they discovered at the zoo.
The main attraction was the 600-year-old oak tree at the entrance to the garden and, of course, the biggest crocodile in a Romanian zoo, a 20-year-old male crocodile, four metres long and weighing almost 300 kg. It was a day full of happiness, satisfaction and unforgettable experiences.
The children of the Centre are leaving the 4 worlds explored within the project "Detectives on the blue planet", carried out together with Concordia Humanitarian Organisation and financed by BOSCH Romania (Vegetal, mineral, animal and cosmic worlds) with a big baggage of information and they promise you that they will not limit themselves to that, because they are extremely curious by nature and ready for any challenge. There are certainly new worlds to explore and unique connections to be made.
