Priority intervention for marginalized communities in Târgu Mureș Municipality
The social inclusion of people from marginalized areas of the Municipality of Targu Mures, materialized through the priority intervention for these communities, is one of the objectives of the project "Integrated approach to poverty and social exclusion for the benefit of marginalized communities in the Municipality of Targu Mures" - co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme (POCU) 2014-2020".
In this regard, these days was completed the free course of commercial worker, which was attended by 14 people from disadvantaged areas of the municipality with a pass rate of 100% certification exam.
From the beginning of the project to date, 23 free qualification courses have been organised. Of these, 22 have already been completed, resulting in a total of 237 people from marginalised areas of Targu Mures who have obtained a qualification certificate. The courses covered qualifications in: entrepreneurial skills (6 courses), green space caretaker (1 course), commercial worker (1 course) and cleaning woman (13 courses).
In the next period, also within the framework of the above-mentioned project, a new qualification course as commercial worker will start, with the participation of 26 beneficiaries.
At the same time, during this period, information was provided through the Community Social Assistance Service regarding the provision of integrated social services, adapted to all the identified needs of the target group, from social, health or education, to employment, housing, access to identity documents, prevention and combating early school leaving, support for accessing and staying in the labour market, all materialized in the provision of this integrated package of support measures to the disadvantaged community, in order to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion and to overcome the situation of vulnerability.
