DAS Târgu Mureș: Applications for social cards for food and hot meals
Four categories of disadvantaged people in the municipality of Targu Mures, who benefit from electronic social vouchers for food and hot meals and food packages, funded by the Social Inclusion and Dignity Programme 2021-2027, can apply online at the following e-mail address registratura.das@tirgumures.ro or physically at the Social Assistance Department (DAS) Târgu Mureș, Gh. Doja, nr. 9, ground floor, room 8, according to the following schedule:
- Monday and Wednesday: 08:00 - 14:30;
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 08:00 - 16:00;
- Friday: 08:00 - 14:00.
Applications must be accompanied by documents relating to the composition of the family and income in the month preceding the application.

Social cards for food and hot meals and food parcels are granted from 2024 to 2027 and are intended to offset part of the cost of food for daily living.
What is the value of material support in 2024 and how is it granted?
- Electronic social vouchers for food and hot meals have a nominal value of 250 lei and are issued every two months.
- The food packages have a maximum value of 125 lei and are granted once every 6 months.
Which categories of beneficiaries of material support can apply to DAS Targu Mures?
- Families with at least 2 dependent children and a monthly income per family member less than or equal to 675 lei, who live/reside in the Municipality of Târgu Mureș;
- Single-parent families with a monthly income per family member less than or equal to 675 lei, who live/reside in Târgu Mureș Municipality;
- Homeless people in Târgu Mureș Municipality;
- Persons/families temporarily in critical living situations, established by social surveys, who are domiciled/reside in the Municipality of Târgu Mureș (this category benefits from food packages, granted once every 6 months).
