Târgu Mureș, 5 December 2024
PRESS RELEASE
Christmas fair with Christmas decorations made by children, young people and adults in assistance to NGOs in Târgu Mureș
The winter holidays are fast approaching, bringing with them the desire to feel the magical atmosphere of Christmas, to give and receive gifts and, above all, to enjoy together with our loved ones. In this spirit of generosity and community, the Targu Mures Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with the Mures County Museum, is organising an exhibition and sale of Christmas objects on Tuesday, 10 December 2024, between 10:00 and 20:00. Admission is free.
The event will take place in the inner courtyard of the Toldalagi Palace, Ethnography and Folk Art Section of the Mures County Museum, and will bring together the creations made by children, young people and adults in the care of several non-governmental organisations.
Visitors are invited to discover a warm and cosy atmosphere where they will find Christmas decorations and ornaments created with soul and talent by the beneficiaries of social services. These unique, hand-crafted items will be available for purchase, offering a chance to support the labour and creativity of those in need.
The celebration of the Nativity reminds us of the importance of giving, kindness and solidarity. Through this fair, each participant will have the opportunity to contribute to the joy of those in their community and to make Christmas a time to grow closer together.
