FUN-FILLED DAYS AND NEW EXPERIENCES AT SUMMER CAMP
OF THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY CENTRE FOR MINORS
Every child should have memorable experiences during the summer, experiences that take them out of their daily routine and give them an alternative way to spend their free time. In this sense, the Social Assistance Department of Targu Mures, through the Day Centre for Minors, has been with children living in marginalized communities, preschool and school children aged 4 to 14 years, beneficiaries of social services, offering them a vivid experience of their relationship with their peers in a recreational and educational environment.
The project aimed to connect children with their environment and to inform them about the role of education in preventing school drop-out, preventing social exclusion and creating beautiful memories for the future with new experiences and friendships.
Among the activities of the camp, which took place over 9 days with teachers, psycho-pedagogues and psychologists, were:
- Sports relay games (sack relay) and badminton game between girls and boys;
