Vouchers of up to 23,000 lei for people with disabilities. Applications can be submitted until 31 May 2023!
The Targu Mures Social Assistance Directorate announces that people with disabilities can access up to 23,000 lei (5,000 euro) for assistive technology. This voucher is offered in the framework of the project "Facilitating the labour market integration of people with disabilities" by the National Authority for the Rights of People with Disabilities.
Applications for vouchers, together with the original application file, must be submitted by 31 May 2023. Thereafter, vouchers will be issued until 30 June 2023 at the latest and can be used by people with disabilities during the validity period, but no later than 31 August 2023.
What are the conditions I have to meet in order to get the voucher?
- Have a disability certified by a disability certificate;
- Being unemployed or inactive and looking for a job;
- You must be between the age of 18 and the age of retirement;
- Be a young person over 18, under 30 years of age and in education or training (non-NEETs).
What are the necessary steps to be able to get the voucher?
- To begin with, you need to go to the AJOFM (County Agency for Employment) with your identity card, medical certificate and your last educational document. The AJOFM will register the disabled person as looking for a job and will provide information, counselling and mediation services. The disabled person will sign the agreement on participation in employment measures and stimulation and will participate in at least two activities provided by AJOFM (information, counselling, mediation).
- Then, you have to go to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC), where the following documents will be submitted:
- Application for the voucher;
- Certificate of disability and, in the case of children, its annex;
- Referral from the medical specialist regarding the provision of assistive technologies and devices and access technologies;
- Agreement on the participation in measures to stimulate the labour force provided by AJOFM;
- Commitment not to alienate the assistive product.
How do I get the voucher?
- The person with a disability collects the voucher from the DGASPC - presents the voucher to the assistive technology provider and receives the product.
What does assistive technology involve?
Assistive technology includes any object, item of equipment, service or product system, including software, that is used to increase, maintain, replace or improve the functional capabilities of persons with disabilities or to reduce or compensate for impairments, activity limitations or participation restrictions.
