Respecting diversity through joint social action
The social well-being of every society is based on the fundamental role that social workers and social work play in the life of the community and only. By involving all citizens, local institutions and businesses in a sustainable joint effort, effective results can be achieved in creating a cohesive community.
The situations of risk to which our community has been subjected (the COVID-19 pandemic, the military conflict and the humanitarian crisis in the neighbouring country), have demonstrated that civic solidarity and the prompt help offered to our neighbour in need, are in the power of each one of us! Through common actions and social actions, smaller or bigger, institutional or individual, according to the power of each one of us, we can change together for the better the lives of those around us.
The management of the Targu Mures Social Welfare Directorate would like to thank all social workers and employees working in the social field for the work they do every day, for the effort and patience they show in dealing with the beneficiaries of social welfare services.
